Last night, my partner Michael and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary!

We went back to the place where we first met and snapped this photograph for the family album.

I know exactly what you're thinking reader... "Oh My God... they must have been tiny children 25 years ago... and what were they doing on that long and lonely road that night?"

...I was an outrageous young man walking home from town and he was a kind hunky taxi-driver.

Who knew such a rare and beautiful 'chance meeting' could lead to us becoming best friends and lovers, fellow-travellers on the path, and - perhaps above all - we're still crazy about eachother after all these years!

We bring out the best in eachother and we drive eachother up the wall.
But we are open to major life changes and personal growth.

We don't assume we will always be together.
But we consciously choose to be today - and that's rare!

Our dog, Jessye, is a sage in sheep's clothing.

She often takes a nap on the sofa under her favourite picture, a profound yet simple phrase written by the hand of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

We are reminded to dwell happily in the present moment.
