Earthquake hits Tibet

Tibet has been the scene of yet another earthquake.

The 6.6 magnitude quake, with an epicenter 50 miles west of Lhasa, killed at least nine people.

This photo shows a mother and child passing through rubble and collapsed buildings.

The earthquake happened on Monday October 6.
You can read more about it on this site.

There is also slightly fuller information on Reuters.

I don't remember hearing so much before about earthquakes in Tibet and, although i'm not really superstitious, i can't help wondering if these events are manifestations of the ongoing unrest and disharmony in Tibet.
