How do you make a buddha?

Have you ever wondered what goes into the creation of the enormous Buddha statues we see in temples?
Here is a very short but inspiring overview of how the large Buddha was made for Rigpa's main temple at Lerab Ling in southern France.

Thanks so much to Robert Gassler for posting this video and so many others on the web.

But, above all, my heart-felt gratitude and devotion go to Sogyal Rinpoche - my spiritual father - THE master among masters, an unstoppable force of nature from whom all good things come and without whom nothing is possible.
Just look at what Rinpoche and the Rigpa sangha have achieved in Lerab Ling, Dzogchen Beara West Cork, the new Berlin Rigpa Centre, and the new Tenzin Gyatso Institute in the U.S. ... and all this, for the ultimate benefit of all beings, is just the beginning!
